Another year come and gone. So much content planned and most of it made.

I’m so thankful to those of you who have continued to follow me on this journey.

And if you’re new to the newsletter, please know I only send 4 of these out a year, each quarter, so you won’t be seeing a ton of my in your inbox.

What Happened Last Quarter?

October

It was a busy month between my 9-5 hustle. Clearly those aren’t my working hours but still you get the point. Working in Corporate America in any way is exhausting and working in insurance is even worse.

Florence’s newest album dropped this month and I hosted a tiny listening party of the new album.

November

I spent a good bit of this month working on the new blog. We’re moving hosts soon (may already have by the time you have this in your inbox) which has resulted in a huge overhaul of the website. But I can’t wait for you all to see the hard work I’ve put in on it.

I saw Vincent Lima this month - which if you have tuned into my prior book writing live streams, then his name and music may be extremely familiar. It was an amazing night and I honestly spent most of it off my phone. I did get my album signed so yay.

December

I finally figured out what I wanted to do podcast wise, sat down and recorded the trailer and the first episode.

You read that right… I launched my podcast. Hearth, Heart, & Rituals is available on all platforms that I could get it on using the RSS Feed from Spotify. You can find all of the links here. There is also a link to subscribe to the Substack where all the podcast show notes and other goodies will be available.

Additionally, I’ve been hard at work with my co-hosts of Practically Bookish recording episodes so that we can get them out for you all to enjoy starting January 7th, 2026. Again, you can find this podcast on all all the platforms linked on our profile for Spotify.

Additional to all of that, I also have created a Pango Bookshop to sell all the books I have reviewed(and some that I have not) to make space in my collection. If there is a book in my collection that you have wanted to read, I am selling them at a discount on my Pango Shop for others to enjoy.

Last but not least the Book Queue has had some updates.

• You can still recommend books via the Book Queue Suggestion Form

• To help with supporting me with this and bumping your recs up, I have instituted not one but two wishlists. On the Book Queue, I have designated which wishlist the books are on.

  • Amazon Wishlist - mainly focused on the Kindle Only books but I have chosen to add - where possible - kindle additions of other books as they tend to be slightly cheaper.

  • Booksop.Org - This wishlist is much more meaningful as it also helps support local book stores who participate with their website. I plan to switch out the shop we support each quarter and will announce it going forward in these emails. Currently until the end of March, the wishlist supports Novelette here in Nashville.

I’m currently in the process of revamping the blog and I cannot wait for you guys to see it come February. You’re going to love the new look. We’re still figuring out some kinks so just hang with me while we work on it.

In addition to that, I am working on the tiers for the Patreon.

Currently there are only two tiers:

• Hearth, Heart, & Rituals- $5

  • In this tier you receive access to all the podcast extras including ad free episodes (whenever I finally get to monetize), bonus episodes and articles for Patrons only, and whatever else we come up with for the podcast (Maybe exclusive merch?)

• The Magnolia Coven - $10

  • In this tier, you receive access to not only the podcast extras, but you also receive access to exclusive polls, livestreams exclusive to Patrons, and so many other things that I am trying to sort out.

All money made from the Patreon is to essentially make my content creation continue in ways that will help me sustain it long term. The same with Ko-Fi.
